- What are the benefits of joining the Migoda Program?
By participating in the Migoda program we play the complete marketing keyboard for your hotel. Not only Migoda Coupon Holders nationally will see your offer but millions of other Migoda Coupon Holders from 8 countries (mostly European countries) will be able to also see your hotel as well.
- How long do we have to stay in the Migoda Program?
Our Hotel contract offers you to join the Migoda Program for free and the agreement is set up for two years with an automatic yearly renewal, unless terminated in writing by either side in due time.
- What does a Migoda Coupon redeem for?
1 Coupon includes 2 persons in a double room for one free night with possible accommodation of a pet – in most cases a dog.
- How many Coupons are redeemable per guest?
1 Coupon includes 2 persons in a double room for one free night. As long as you have capacity for more nights there is no limitation of nights per guest – it’s your choice how many nights you make available to a Migoda Coupon Holder.
- Do I have to reserve rooms for Migoda?
No, this is not necessary!
You are completely flexible giving your rooms to Migoda Coupon Holders. Just manage your calendar in our Extranet to show dates available/unavailable to the Migoda Coupon Holder Community.
When a booking request comes in you can decide to give away as many rooms as you like or even deny a booking request.
- Are there any room requirements for Migoda Coupon Holder Guests?
With participating in our program you agreed to give a free night for two people in a double room with possibly a dog. We know from experience that about 30% of our Migoda Customers return as paying guests if they liked their previous experience and also share their good experience with others.
Therefore we advise you to give the Migoda Coupon Holder a guest experience that matches or surpasses at least the fully paying customers.
- Is it possible to highlight my hotel on the Migoda.com page?
In fairness with all participating hotels, there is no way to highlight your hotel specifically.
- Will my Hotel be regularly informed about innovations of Migoda?
We will constantly update you with our improvements to the system for you to learn on our innovations and progress marketing your house to our Migoda audience.
- Who are my guests?
The Migoda Coupon Holder Community exists of all people of all ages (above 18) from 8 countries (currently mostly Europe) from also all different financial backgrounds.
As our Coupons are mainly promoted in all countries by different pet-supply companies, different people are receiving those.
- How many Migoda Coupon Guest do I have to accept?
There is no obligation to accept a certain minimum number of Migoda Coupon guests.
You decide on the basis of your booking situation, how many guests you want to welcome. Each guest reduces a possible vacancy and contributes to additional sales to your house. As part of your room planning, you can decide to make the best possible use of this added value.
- How do I sign up / log-in to join the Migoda Program?
You join the Migoda Program by clicking on the ‘Join For Free’ button on the top right corner of the website. After submitting your details, you will receive an email from us in which we will verify you as a Migoda Partner Hotel. You will have to sign and return the Service Agreement and also set up a Stripe account for you to receive your payouts from us. Once this is completed we will give you your login details for our Extranet. You will then enter your property information and submit your meal package offer there. We will once more check that everything is well entered in all languages too – before we will then switch you ‘online’ to be seen on our Migoda.com website.
- What will happen after I leave my sign-up details?
After you complete the sign-up form and submit it to us we will check your details and get back to you with login-details for our Extranet dashboard. There you can manage your calendar, enter and edit your hotel details and submit your meal package. When you are ready your property including your meal package offer will be live on our Migoda.com platform.
- I have created my account – what do I do next?
After having uploaded your property details including photos and your submitted meal package offer, we will need to check if your information is also represented in all the Migoda supported languages. As a complementary support from Migoda we will assist to make sure that the missing languages are translated by us, so we can market your hotel to all of our respective audiences.
- When will my property fully go online?
Your property information and meal package proposal will go online after our team has verified that all of your information is entered and translated in all languages that the Migoda platform offers.
- How do I price my meal package?
It is up to you what you would like to offer in terms of meal package. It will depend on the number of restaurants you have in your hotel. If you are a small hotel with a small kitchen you might just offer breakfast or half board, if you have many restaurants/ bars/ dining areas and kitchen facilities you might want to offer all-inclusive or even ultra all inclusive package.
- Can we charge for the pet the guests bring?
Yes, you can charge an overnight fee for the pet, depending on what you think is right. Some hotels charge an overnight fee for the dog. Others do not.
- Can I offer my meal package without accommodation?
Since we promote the Migoda Coupon as a coupon for 1 free night in a double room for two people – there is unfortunately no way to market your meal offer as a separate product. The meal package is always tied to a free night.
- What if my accomodation does not have its own kitchen – can I still participate in the program?
The program is based on your making some money on selling a meal package for the room you give away for free. If you don’t have a kitchen to offer any meal package on our website then this program is not a good match for you.
- Can I charge for the facilities a Migoda Coupon Holder uses?
Anything outside of your meal package offer you can charge the Migoda Coupon Holder. In some cases a city tax for example needs to be charged after a customers visit and any other facilities and services that weren’t included in your offer.
